John, I’m writing with big news.

I want to end this launch week by saying thank you. The support we have already seen means more to me than I can express.

When my great-grandparents came to Minnesota, they did not have the right to vote in the country they fled. They came here for safety, for dignity, and for the promise of self-government.

That promise is what I am fighting to protect.

Election by election, year by year, we have strengthened Minnesota’s democracy.

But now we face challenges unlike anything we have seen before. The disinformation, the attacks on voting by mail, the demands for private voter data, the weakening of federal agencies that once supported election security — all of it threatens the stability of the 2026 election.

I am ready for this work.

I am not backing down.

But I need you with me.
