Team,

Is there anything we can say to get you to contribute to the DNC today?

What if we shared a few reasons to have hope?

Recent polling shows voters largely favoring Democratic candidates on the 2026 midterm ballot. That means realistically, Democrats have a good chance of flipping the House and the Senate and winning back control of Congress next year.

When Democrats won races in New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere this year, voters sent a message: that people all over the country are fed up with Trump and his allies’ agenda.

Even after Election Day, voters have continued to make their stance clear. Democrat Aftyn Behn significantly overperformed in TN-07, a district that Trump won by 22 points in 2024. And Eileen Higgins just won her race to become Miami’s next mayor, becoming the first Democratic-aligned candidate to win Miami’s mayoral seat in nearly 30 years.

With 2026 directly on the horizon, we’re not letting this momentum fade.

At the DNC, we’re using these bits of hope to fuel our fight to retake Congress and elect Democrats in down-ballot races who will check Trump’s power in their cities, districts, and states.

We’re continuing to make historic investments in Democratic state parties, and we’re preparing to scale up our voter outreach efforts next year.

That work is already underway, but we need a surge of Democratic supporters to continue and expand it. And you might be surprised to hear this, but a LOT of our donations come from emails just like this one.

So we’re asking: Will you join the thousands of grassroots donors who are already pitching in to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot?
