But college administrations, professors, and students seem to have forgotte=
n that fact.
Instead, in just the past few years, we have witnessed horrific acts of int=
imidation and even violence against students who dare to hold a conservativ=
e worldview.
In 2017, at the University of California, Berkeley, a pro-Trump speaker was=
forced to cancel his planned appearance while a left-wing mob inflicted ov=
er $100,000 worth of damage on the campus.

Also in 2017, biology professor Bret Weinstein received verbal abuse, calls=
for his firing, and threats of physical violence after refusing to take pa=
rt in Evergreen University=E2=80=99s =E2=80=9CDay of Absence,=E2=80=9D whic=
h urged white people to stay off campus.

Last year, conservative activist Hayden Williams was punched in the face wh=
ile peacefully recruiting fellow conservatives to join a campus group at UC=
Berkeley.
The list goes on and on. But together, we can end this intimidation and abu=
se.

Remember -- many of the same students who, just a few years ago, were intim=
idating professors, assaulting their fellow students, rioting on campus, an=
d shutting down free speech in the name of =E2=80=9Csocial justice=E2=80=9D=

officers, intimidating passersby, and even rioting -- in the name of =E2=80=

They have burned local businesses to the ground.
They have stormed police precincts and ransacked them.
In Seattle, they have even taken control of six city blocks, which they now=
call the =E2=80=9CCapitol Hill Autonomous Zone=E2=80=9D -- an area complet=
ely free of laws or a police presence!
The saddest part of this tragic episode in our nation=E2=80=99s history is =
that many of these radical activists wouldn=E2=80=99t have turned out this =
way on their own.
Many of them were set on the path to radicalism by their experiences at lef=
tist-dominated universities that silenced dissent and immersed them in prog=
ressive ideology.
As I said, the loss of campus free speech has consequences, my friend -- no=
t just for the young lives that are forever changed by it, but for our comm=
unities and our nation.
To be perfectly frank, if we don=E2=80=99t reopen the campuses for a free e=
xchange of ideas, our nation=E2=80=99s future is in dire jeopardy.
Year after year, another crop of left-wing activists is churned out of the =
university system. Their numbers are growing, and the effects on our cities=
and states are becoming more and more terrifying.
Please help me end this indoctrination of our nation=E2=80=99s youth by reo=
pening college campuses to a truly free exchange of ideas.

imidation and even violence against students who dare to hold a conservativ=

In 2017, at the University of California, Berkeley, a pro-Trump speaker was=
forced to cancel his planned appearance while a left-wing mob inflicted ov=
er $100,000 worth of damage on the campus.

Also in 2017, biology professor Bret Weinstein received verbal abuse, calls=
for his firing, and threats of physical violence after refusing to take pa=
rt in Evergreen University=E2=80=99s =E2=80=9CDay of Absence,=E2=80=9D whic=
h urged white people to stay off campus.

Last year, conservative activist Hayden Williams was punched in the face wh=
ile peacefully recruiting fellow conservatives to join a campus group at UC=
Berkeley.
The list goes on and on. But together, we can end this intimidation and abu=
se.

idating professors, assaulting their fellow students, rioting on campus, an=

ely free of laws or a police presence!
The saddest part of this tragic episode in our nation=E2=80=99s history is =
that many of these radical activists wouldn=E2=80=99t have turned out this =
way on their own.
Many of them were set on the path to radicalism by their experiences at lef=
tist-dominated universities that silenced dissent and immersed them in prog=
ressive ideology.
As I said, the loss of campus free speech has consequences, my friend -- no=
t just for the young lives that are forever changed by it, but for our comm=
unities and our nation.
To be perfectly frank, if we don=E2=80=99t reopen the campuses for a free e=
xchange of ideas, our nation=E2=80=99s future is in dire jeopardy.
Year after year, another crop of left-wing activists is churned out of the =
university system. Their numbers are growing, and the effects on our cities=
and states are becoming more and more terrifying.
