Our country is at real risk of being unrecognizable.
I see the consequences of this administration perhaps more than any other governor in the United States. I see the damage firsthand to communities, to the economy, to our reputation, and to the world we’re trying to build.
This is simply the most destructive and damaging individual I have seen in my lifetime, who happens to be the President of the United States.
This is serious.
Wake up. We will lose our country.
History reminds us that each of us will be judged ... and ultimately judge ourselves, to the extent we contribute, as Bobby Kennedy said, to the life of our cities, our state, our nation, and the world we are trying to build.
We are fighting back. We did it in California, and we've done it in other states. But we can't stop now. Our next mission must be to do everything we can to flip the House and Senate in the next election and end Donald Trump's unchecked power.
