At this very moment, families in rural Africa are facing unprecedented challenges. Thousands of families like Veronica's don’t have adequate access to soap and water. This makes handwashing impossible and leaves families extremely vulnerable to coronavirus.
 
Restrictions to movement bring many other concerns to those living in rural Africa. How will families like Veronica's get vegetable seeds, or sell produce at markets? They are worried about how they will provide for their children.

With the support of Americans like you, we are increasing our sanitation and hygiene training, so that families have the skills to build a tip tap and can easily wash their hands without running water.

We are also working to ensure families have the seeds and training so when this crisis is over, they will be in a strong and healthy position to build their own futures from the land.
