I am running for city council to lower the cost of living in Tempe. I want to bring universal childcare, affordable groceries, and fast, free public transit to my hometown. I want to keep data centers out of Tempe and protect our residents from mass surveillance and deportation. Most of the people I speak with support that platform, but some don't agree with my goals.

There are powerful people in Tempe and America who don't want change. They don't care that your rent is too high or that your groceries cost too much. They want to keep childcare, transportation, healthcare, and utility payments unaffordable for working people. They like it that way, because they set it up.

These elites profit from economic inequality, and they generously fund defenders of their status quo, like my incumbent opponents, through PACs and lobbyists.

But I am fighting for real change, and that costs real money.

I don't take donations from corporations or corporate lobbyists, and I don't want their support. This campaign depends on the working people who I intend to serve. That's intentional, but it means that I need your financial support.

So today, I am asking you to give. There are some costs I can't avoid. Street signs cost $20 each. Professional door-to-door canvassers cost $20 per hour. All told, each door knocked costs about $2.50

That means a $25 donation knocks 10 doors! $100 can knock 40 doors or buy five street signs at major intersections. A max donation of $650 will knock 260 doors or buy 32 street signs.

We need to raise at least $20,000 by February 11 if we want a shot at winning in March. That may sound like a lot, but there are thousands of you on this email. If everyone reading this makes a donation that they can afford, we will crush that goal in no time.

Together we can make Tempe affordable for everyone, but time is running out. Our 2025 fundraising deadline is 19 days away, and ballots go out in 61. We have two months to reach our goal, and we need your help to do it.
