Yesterday I celebrated a very politically incorrect Christmas with my annual
15-minute Carhartt Christmas Party. Pure efficiency. Congress could learn a
thing or two.

It was a frustrating week of the bureaucracy doing what it does best—slowing
down everything. I heard through the grapevine that a Democrat Senate staffer
was holding up my bill to defund the Taliban. I looked into it, and I busted
them. I won’t back down.



I had 900 BILLION reasons to vote against the National Defense Authorization
Act. Money for Ukraine, money for Syria, and money for Iraq just to name a few.
Three thousand pages. Four days. No way to know what all is in it. NUH UH. NO
MORE.

Last night, I had the honor of being invited to the White House to celebrate
Christmas, and as I was walking out, the President’s Marine Corps Band was
playing “Silent Night.” It officially feels like Christmas.
