You’re probably going to get a lot of emails this month, so before they all come flooding in, I wanted to take a moment to explain why.

Right now, campaigns like ours are getting ready for the final FEC filing deadline of the year, and it’s a pretty big deal. After this deadline, we’re required to publicly report how much money we raised. That means everyone on both sides of the aisle will be able to see how strong (or weak) a campaign is.

While we already have a Republican challenger, a strong showing could deter more Republicans from challenging us. But if we don’t hit our goal and fall short, it’ll come off as a sign of weakness, and Republicans will use the opportunity to attack us.

This is one of the most important House races in the country, and what happens here will help determine the House majority in 2026. So, we need all the help we can get to stay on track and finish the year strong.
