America’s unions just had a huge victory in Congress—and we wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU.

You made the calls. You sent the emails. You kept up the pressure on your representative to protect workers’ rights.

And last night, Democrats and Republicans came together in the House of Representatives and passed the Protect America’s Workforce Act to restore union rights to 1 million federal workers.

Your voice—and the voices of working people all across the country—was a crucial part of this victory. We hope you will take the time to celebrate, and enjoy this rare moment of bipartisan support for workers’ rights. You earned it.

We’ve still got a big fight ahead. The bill now goes to the Senate, where it already has bipartisan support. Please call your senators and urge them to stand with working people and pass the Protect America’s Workforce Act. 

President Trump betrayed workers when he tried to rip away our collective bargaining rights. But working people still have hope—and we still have the power to fight back.

Thank you for all you’ve done—and all you continue to do—to reverse the single largest act of union-busting in American history.
