Hello John,
Next year, come celebrate 250 years of American independence with ISI. You’re invited to the America 500 Gala for Western Civilization on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Join us at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC, to celebrate America’s founding and cast a vision for the next 250 years of American greatness and goodness.
Last year, we inaugurated the Linda L. Bean Prize for Advancing American Art & Culture in loving memory of our dear friend and longtime trustee, Linda L. Bean. This award honors artists whose work exemplifies artistic excellence and is rooted in our American and Western tradition.
This year’s winner is master sculptor Sabin Howard, creator of A Soldier’s Journey, the centerpiece of the new National World War I Memorial in Washington, DC.
