Can I tell you a personal story?

Can I tell you a bit more about myself?

If you couldn’t already tell, I wasn’t exactly a “cool” kid growing up. I played the banjo. I had big Coke-bottle glasses and a funny last name. And after graduation, I went on to become a scientist – a geologist to be specific. Then I got laid off and opened Colorado’s first brewpub – Wynkoop Brewing Company – in downtown Denver. I like corny jokes and bad puns (well, to me, they’re hilarious).

John back in the day

I’m not your typical politician – and that’s exactly why Coloradans elected me in the first place. I found my way in public office because I was fed up with special interests and corporations getting their way while everyday Americans got the short end of the stick.

That’s why we do things a little differently around here. Instead of letting corporate PACs or wealthy billionaires call the shots, we depend on hard-working folks like you to power everything we do – because that’s exactly who I’m here to represent.

I’m proud of the work we’ve done in the U.S. Senate – from lowering prescription drug costs, to defending our public lands, to standing up against Trump’s disastrous Project 2025 agenda. But some of our most important fights are ahead of us, and we’ll need to retake our Democratic Senate if we’re going to do it.

Just because we won our last race here in Colorado doesn’t mean it’ll be an easy path forward. Ever since we unseated Cory Gardner, national Republicans have been looking for any opportunity to flip Colorado red again.

So I’m personally asking you to make a donation of anything you can afford to our campaign today. We’ve set a goal to raise $50,000 from our emails this month and the only way we’ll hit our target is with your support:

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thanks so much! I know I can always count on this team to step up when we need it. And for that, I am so grateful.

John
