John,
My sister-in-service Ayanna Pressley is bold. She’s effective. She’s committed.
When I first arrived in Congress in 2019, I arrived with Ayanna. We’ve taken on the greatest threats to our democracy in modern history. Back then, with Democratic control of the House, we were able to take steps to hold Trump accountable, impeaching him twice and ultimately defeating him at the ballot box in 2020.
But today, with Republicans in control of Congress and the Supreme Court, the guardrails are completely off. Trump has put troops in our streets. He’s terrorizing immigrant communities. He’s handing tax breaks to billionaires while taking food away from hungry kids. And his policies are increasing—not lowering—prices.
Our fight for liberation and justice is more urgent than ever. We need true progressives pushing the Democratic Party to be the party it claims to be. Ayanna and I are not afraid to speak truth to power, even when our voices shake.
This week, Ayanna announced that she’s running for re-election to Congress. Let’s show her early support to send the message that we need members of Congress who are truly rooted in their communities—not more millionaires who give handouts to Wall Street while cutting life-saving services that the majority of Americans rely on.
Read my email from yesterday below about some of the transformative policies Ayanna and I are fighting for together. Then please split a contribution between our re-election campaigns to send us back to Congress. Together we’ll keep fighting back against fascism and fighting for our communities.

With you in this fight,
Rashida

John,
I need allies by my side in Congress who will fight back against attacks on immigrants, Black and brown folks, the LGBTQ+ community, the working class, and federal workers.
To make the changes our communities deserve, we need more Congressmembers to join me in demanding oversight of and accountability from this administration, big banks and crypto corporations, Big Pharma, and corporate polluters.
My sister-in-service Rep. Ayanna Pressley just announced that she’s running for re-election and she needs our support. She’s one of the strongest champions for racial and environmental justice in Congress today.
I’ve been proud to support Ayanna’s policies like the People’s Justice Guarantee, which would end corporate profiteering in incarceration, replace cages with care, and move federal policy toward decarceration and community-based solutions.
I’ve also joined Rep. Pressley in introducing legislation such as the Fossil Free Finance Act―which would require major banks to stop financing fossil fuel projects and deforestation.
She is standing by my side demanding affordable necessities including food, housing, and childcare. Ayanna understands that instead of more millionaires in Congress, we need folks who are truly rooted in their community and who understand everyday Americans’ struggles. That’s why she’s running for re-election, and it’s why we need her to stay in office fighting for our rights.
Help send Ayanna and me back to Congress by splitting a donation between our re-election campaigns today. Your support means we can keep fighting back against the growing control oligarchs and corporations have over our government.

With you and our Squad by my side, we will stand up to the fascist billionaire bullies and build toward the promise of a multiracial democracy that truly serves the people.
In solidarity,
Rashida
