Dear Friend,

Texans are some of the most hard-working folks I know. But right now, many are struggling because of President Trump’s policies that are making life more expensive. Grocery prices are up, the economy is hurting and now healthcare costs are set to rise for many.

Right now, Congress is negotiating tax credits folks receive through the Affordable Care Act. Tens of thousands of San Antonians in my district rely on these credits and are already seeing their premiums increase unless Congress acts.  

I am working in Congress to bring prices down and make sure that folks don’t lose healthcare altogether.

Folks are hurting, especially in Texas where we have the highest percentage of uninsured patients. While Trump is grading his economy as A+++++ rating, the numbers say otherwise. Prices are higher than ever and Texans are paying the price.
