We just don’t know what to say.

This week marks 13 years since a mass shooter armed with assault weapons slaughtered 20 innocent children and six innocent staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

But we’ve witnessed THOUSANDS of mass shootings since 2013 – including 388 in 2025.

Just this month, we witnessed mass shootings:

…injure four innocents in Union, SC...

…and steal the lives of two innocents and wound two more innocent people in Baltimore, MD...

…and take the life of one innocent person and injure three other innocents in Dallas, TX...

…and steal the lives of two innocent people and wound three more innocents in Muskegon, MI...

…and take the life of one innocent person and injure four other innocents in Clearwater, FL...

…and steal the life of one innocent person and wound three other innocents in San Jose, CA...

…and take the lives of two innocent people and injure two more innocents in Nye, NE...

…and steal the life of two innocent people and wound two other innocents in Newark, NJ...

And we’re only 12 days into December.

Here’s the truth: If it can happen in these states, it can happen in your community too. None of us are immune from mass shootings and gun violence until we finally reinstate the federal assault weapon ban, get weapons of war off our streets, and kick every single gun-lobby-backed Republican who stands in our way out of power for good. We have a plan to do it all – but we need to raise $5,000 before midnight tomorrow to honor every single life lost at Sandy Hook Elementary with action. Can you rush $15 in the next 12 hours?
