I spent years talking about the Constitution. I still believe in it. And the Constitution is clear about one thing too many people want to ignore: it protects everyone on U.S. soil — including immigrants.
That’s why I’m working on PAXIS, and why I’m asking for your help today. We’ve already raised over $16,000, more than 65% of our $25,000 goal. Now I want to finish the job.
PAXIS is a calm, lawful response system for high-pressure situations that immigrants face — when ICE or other enforcement shows up at a door, on the street, at work, or at school.
In those moments, people are scared. They panic. They forget their rights. PAXIS is being built so they can get clear, steady guidance that is rooted in the Constitution and in nonviolence, not in fear.
The goal is simple: when an immigrant, or someone they love, is in danger or under pressure, they have something in their corner that helps them and the people around them:
remember they have the right to stay silent
know when not to open the door or consent to a search
ask the right questions calmly
stay grounded in their rights and their dignity, as family, friends, neighbors, and allies stand with them

Building the first PAXIS response lines
Plugging in real “Know Your Rights” materials and guides on warrants and subpoenas, in plain language
Testing with immigrants, organizers, and legal partners, and translating it so it’s actually usable
Strong guardrails so everything stays aligned with the Constitution and with nonviolence
This is practical infrastructure. When there’s a raid, a visit, or a threat, I want people to have a disciplined, lawful response ready — not just fear and confusion.
