On Monday The Hon. Barnaby
Joyce and Senator Pauline Hanson made a
joint announcement about the member for New England's future. We
warmly welcome Barnaby Joyce to One Nation ranks.
___________
Dear John,
This week One Nation unveiled our comprehensive
national energy policy, focused squarely on slashing power bills and
restoring reliable electricity for every Australian household, small
business and major industry.
The response to our energy policy has been
overwhelmingly positive right across the country. It also played a
part in Barnaby Joyce’s decision to formally stand with Pauline Hanson
and join One Nation, strengthening our fight for common-sense energy
reform.
While we were delivering real solutions, Labor
was exposed yet again for its priorities. Minister Anika Wells has
been caught spending hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on
international travel and Parisian banquets. All this while families in
her own Brisbane Northside electorate struggle to pay rent and keep
the lights on because of the very energy policies she and her party
imposed.
It’s a perfect snapshot of Labor today: luxury
for them, higher bills for everyone else.
Our policy draws a line under the failed net
zero agenda. Net zero has pushed prices up, shut industries down and
delivered nothing but pain to working Australians. One Nation is
ending the nonsense.
Our plan backs Australian coal, unlocks our gas
reserves, and begins the pathway to nuclear energy so the country can
finally enjoy stable baseload power again. These steps put downward
pressure on prices, safeguard jobs and re-establish Australia as a
nation that builds, manufactures and competes.
Labor offers ideology and taxpayers funded
credit cards. We offer a plan that works.
Thank you for standing with Pauline Hanson and
One Nation as we fight to restore affordable energy and put
Australians first.
