Moments ago, I voted in support of articles of impeachment against President Trump for abuse of power and inciting violence against lawmakers and federal judges.

Trump has called for the execution of Democratic lawmakers and encouraged threats against public officials who ruled against him. This isn’t “politics as usual”–it’s an attack on democracy itself. 

That’s why I voted in favor of beginning the impeachment debate.
