“We have reached a point in the universal history of mankind where we must leave behind not only half a millennium of colonialism, but also the mindset that led to two world wars in the 20th century: geopolitics. We must leave behind, once and for all, the barbaric idea that we always need an enemy, that man is a wolf to man, as Thomas Hobbes, the ideologist of the British Empire, believed… We are the only species known in the universe that is endowed with creative reason, and we must now use it by putting the idea of one humanity first as we establish a new order.”

This is the concluding paragraph to Schiller Institute Founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s recent statement, “Withdraw From NATO! New National Security Strategy Requires New Security Architecture,” which is now available for immediate circulation and endorsement, as ‘NATO-land’ and other utopian warmongers within the trans-Atlantic sector reel from the recent release of the U.S. National Security Strategy (NSS).

What these ghouls of war are realizing, and reacting to, is the collapse of their own system. One such ghoul, former EU Commission President Romano Prodi, went so far as to acknowledge the death of NATO in an interview with Italian television program, “Agorà” on Dec. 10. The new NSS, Prodi said, envisions “a world in which two or three rule and the others should not get on their nerves.” He concluded, “If one is consistent with what Trump says, NATO is reduced to nothing. So far, NATO has been the U.S.A.”

The likelihood that these warhawks will simply stand down and accept their status as a relic of the old ‘unipolar order’ is dubious. It is downright unacceptable to high-ranking NATO military officers such as Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, currently chair of the NATO Military Committee, who has gone so far as to suggest a preemptive strike by NATO against Russia. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has warned that European leaders have already made the decision to go to war against Russia, in an address he gave to the Kecskemét on Oct. 6.

The only antidote to such an outcome is the resolute commitment by mature leaders, their populations, and institutions to a renewal of the entire global security (and financial) architecture. The BRICS+ grouping of nations, and some associated organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Eurasian Economic Union, and others, have taken a step in the right direction towards reshaping the global economy in favor of those in the Global South.

Lyndon LaRouche, American economist, statesman, and scientist, published in 2014, “The Four New Laws to Save the U.S.A. Now! NOT AN OPTION: AN IMMEDIATE NECESSITY.” There, he stated, “The only location for the immediately necessary action which could prevent such an immediate genocide throughout the trans-Atlantic sector of the planet, requires the U.S. Government’s now immediate decision to institute four specific, cardinal measures: measures which must be fully consistent with the specific intent of the original U.S. Federal Constitution, as had been specified by U.S. Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton while he remained in office: (1) immediate re-enactment of the Glass-Steagall law instituted by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, without modification, as to principle of action. (2) A return to a system of top-down, and thoroughly defined as National Banking.”

Those proposals cannot only be implemented in the U.S., but in all the world’s nations. The first law, the immediate re-enactment of Glass-Steagall, must be applied to all nations, and must include the reduction or total wiping down of the equivalent of $1.5+ quadrillion of hyperinflated financial values. This action taken globally is the basis for redefining a new security and development architecture, and will be a declaration of war against the financial oligarchs running Global NATO, from the City of London and Wall Street.
