During a Congressional oversight hearing today, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem flat-out lied under oath.

She claimed, definitively, that her agency had never deported a member of the military. Immediately, a Congressman from Rhode Island presented evidence that proved her wrong—and then had the deported veteran zoom into the hearing live to confront Noem directly. See for yourself.

This is not just incompetence. This is a level of callous, disgraceful lying that proves she has no business holding public office.

As a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, I swore an oath to Integrity First. To see the Secretary of Homeland Security, who spends her time cosplaying in a cowboy hat for TV ads, betray the service of our military members and then lie about it is an absolute disgrace to the uniform.

And the worst part? Rumors are flying that Noem may soon depart the Administration to run for Senate here in South Dakota.
