We wanted to share a quick, transparent financial update as we head into
the final stretch of the year.

In November, you helped us hit our fundraising goal, and we’re extremely
grateful for your support. Now we’re heading into December with our
end-of-quarter public reporting deadline on the horizon, and every
donation to this campaign will help us finish the year as strong as
possible.

Why does that deadline matter? Because these numbers don’t just live in an
Excel sheet — they help us figure out what our next steps are for this
campaign. They impact how confidently we can plan budgets, hire and retain
staff, keep necessary tools, and invest early in the work that must happen
before the rush of the next cycle.

We set an ambitious year-end goal: 50,000 online donations. Right now,
we’re at 40,000, and closing that gap will show that our support is
people-powered and built to last, even during a busy holiday season when
it’s easy to tune out.
