Don't let Washington steal the joy of life...

Dear John,

While millions of Americans prepare to celebrate Christmas, here in Washington it is a high-stakes legislative season.

Coming off the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, lawmakers are behind schedule and racing against the "Christmas clock." And pressure like that can produce the very thing Washington is known for -- compromise in the wrong direction.

The shutdown was triggered when Democrats demanded an extension of billions in COVID-era Obamacare subsidies -- subsidies that force taxpayers to continue paying for abortions and gender-transition procedures, even for illegal immigrants. These subsidies were supposed to expire this year. But because the Affordable Care Act is fundamentally flawed and increasingly unaffordable, Democrats are insisting on more taxpayer money to prop it up.

To reopen the government, Republican leadership agreed to bring a vote on extending these subsidies. That vote is now at hand.

Moments like this reveal what elected officials truly believe. And for Christians, they force a larger question: What kind of America do we want?

Do we desire a nation that honors every life as made in God's image? One where marriage and family are strengthened because they reflect God's design? Or will we allow government overreach to rewrite moral truth and erode the sanctity of life?

This is why your partnership with FRC matters so deeply -- especially right now, in this high pressure season before Christmas.

FRC has been educating lawmakers about the dangers these subsidies pose to unborn children and vulnerable minors, and conservative legislators need to know that believers won't accept compromise.

From now until December 31, your gift will have DOUBLE the impact to defend life, educate lawmakers, and uphold God's design for human flourishing on Capitol Hill. Thanks to generous friends of FRC and a $2 million Challenge Match, your tax-deductible year-end contribution will be DOUBLED.

DONATE NOW -- DOUBLE MY GIFT

At the same time, troubling news is emerging. A new Bloomberg report indicates the FDA may be "slow walking" a long-awaited safety review of the abortion pill.

If true, this is deeply concerning.

Abortion pills now account for nearly two-thirds of all abortions in America. Yet a recent study shows almost 11% of women suffer sepsis, hemorrhaging, infection, or other serious complications.

Women -- and their unborn children -- deserve drug policies driven by science, not politics. That's why I am urging the FDA to complete a full and timely review of mifepristone and reverse the dangerous Biden-era policies that ignore known risks and undermine state protections for the unborn.

Through strategic relationships, expert policy analysis, and new resources like Mifepristone: The Abortion Industry's Backup Plan to Roe, FRC is standing for truth in Washington and defending life where it is most vulnerable.

But to continue this critical work, we need your partnership.

Every dollar you give will be matched and put to work immediately -- equipping FRC to educate lawmakers, defend the unborn, and advance policies rooted in biblical truth.

DOUBLE MY GIFT TODAY

John, this Christmas, believers have both an opportunity and an obligation to defend unborn lives and stand against harmful ideologies targeting children.

Scripture gives us a clear choice. As Joshua declared in Deuteronomy 30:19: "I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live."

Our response today will help determine the nation we pass on tomorrow -- whether one where life is cherished and families flourish, or one reshaped by those who reject God's design.

With the Lord's help, and your faithful partnership, FRC will continue to ensure His truth shapes our laws, culture, and future.
