Millions of kids across the U.S. are going hungry. Please, urge Congress to help families put food on the table! [[link removed]]
TELL CONGRESS NOW [[link removed]]
John,
42 million Americans rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
But during the government shutdown, I heard a lot of misinformation spreading.
Let's set the record straight:
* SNAP participants are NOT unhealthy. In fact, they buy more nutritious foods than low-income households that don’t receive benefits.
* SNAP strengthens our economy. Every $1 in benefits generates up to $1.80 in economic activity – and 80% of SNAP retailers are small businesses.
* SNAP prevents hunger. It singlehandedly reduces food insecurity by up to 30%.
The government shutdown made one thing clear: SNAP cuts would devastate the most vulnerable families. Speak out now! [[link removed]]

John, SNAP isn’t the only program Americans count on.
We’re also advocating for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).
7 million pregnant and breastfeeding mothers – plus their newborns and toddlers – access health screenings, postpartum care and fresh fruits and vegetables through WIC.
So please, tell Congress: Step up to protect SNAP, WIC and kids’ futures! [[link removed]]
Thanks for raising your voice,
