Help us make Nida Allam the next Justice Democrat in Congress.

Justice Democrats

BREAKING, John:

Today, Justice Democrats is proud to announce our seventh 2026 Democratic primary endorsement: Nida Allam in North Carolina’s 4th district!

A graphic with a picture of Nida Allam and text reading 'Endorsement; Nida Allam for U.S. Congress, NC-04. Join Us 2026'. There is a Justice Democrats logo at the bottom.

Nida is the 31-year-old Durham County Commissioner who has delivered real relief for working families in NC — and she knows how to build on that progress in Congress. That starts by taking this seat back from AIPAC and Crypto billionaires who bought it in 2022.

The daughter of Indian and Pakistani immigrants, Nida experienced the tragic loss of her best friend in the 2015 anti-Muslim Chapel Hill shooting. But she turned her grief into action.

Nida organized for Bernie in college then became his NC political director in 2016 before becoming the first Muslim woman in her state to serve in public office when she was elected to the Durham County Board of Commissioners in 2020.

Since making history and stepping into this role, she turned her community’s progressive hopes into real results by:

When establishment Democrats try to dismiss our movement’s agenda for the people as too hard or too bold — Nida is here to tell them those are excuses paid for by corporate PACs.

With healthcare costs skyrocketing, she won’t just vote to protect our existing care — she’ll fight to expand it by passing Medicare for All to ensure everyone has the care they need. Not take corporate checks from the very PACs lobbying against it.

Nida will fight to make life more affordable for everyday people by taking on big utility corporations like Duke Energy that keep raising our energy costs. Unlike her establishment opponent, Nida doesn’t take a dime of corporate PAC money and will fiercely fight back against the corporations raising our prices and making life harder for the working class.

And while AIPAC has made too many politicians too cowardly to speak up, Nida has been a vocal opponent of the genocide in Gaza and will oppose sending any more taxpayer dollars to Israel for bombs and weapons, and demand that money be used to fund our communities at home.

We can deliver more progress for Durham, beat AIPAC’s candidate, and make Nida the next Justice Democrat in Congress, but only with enough grassroots support from progressives like you. Will you pitch in any amount to directly support Nida’s campaign from Day 1?
