The transportation sector is undergoing its biggest shift in a century.
Global electric vehicle sales are surging, with projections that 70% of passenger vehicle sales will be electric by 2040. Within 5 years, 87% of companies plan to electrify their fleets, signaling that fleet electrification is no longer experimentalβitβs becoming standard practice.
The business case for EVs is clear. Fleet operators are seeing strong returns through lower fuel and maintenance expenses, improved efficiency, and performance gains from connected technologies. Incentives and infrastructure investments further reduce the total cost of ownership.
In addition, clean technologies, regulatory pressure, and market changes are creating major opportunities for companies and investors ready to act.
Thatβs why Ceres, in partnership with the We Mean Business Coalition, just released the report: Driving Growth: Managing Transition Risks in Transportation for Investors and Companies < [link removed] > . [Image alt text: Driving Growth report] < [link removed] >
