As a kid who was hard of hearing and had ADHD, I struggled a lot in school. And sadly, some teachers saw my struggles as me misbehaving… and I was eventually kicked out of school.

That memory still lives with me today, decades later, because I know there’s tons of kids just like me facing the same challenges today.

I believe that our public schools need to meet children where they are, and quality of education should never be determined by a kid’s zip code.

But sadly, the Trump Administration disagrees. In fact, they are working to eliminate the Department of Education and divert funding to charter schools…

I’m ready to fight for all of our kids and their opportunities, because nothing sets a child up for success more than a great education experience. And I want to ensure that kids like me have the same opportunities to succeed as all other students.
