Pete Hegseth is the most unqualified person ever to serve as Secretary of Defense - and every day he remains in this role, he puts Americans at risk.

From the moment he was sworn in, his reckless actions have made our nation less safe and secure. That’s why I’m calling on him to resign immediately. Will you join me? [[link removed]]

First, Hegseth used his personal phone to share classified U.S. military strike plans with people who had no clearance - including a journalist and his own family, putting U.S. troops at risk.

And now we’ve learned that in September, he issued an order to “kill everybody” on a boat in the Caribbean - an order that may constitute a war crime and led to two deadly strikes, including one where two incapacitated people clinging to life in the water were killed.

As a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the representative for Joint Base Lewis-McChord, I take this extremely seriously. I saw the videos of the strikes. They are deeply disturbing - and they make one thing clear: Pete Hegseth’s conduct isn’t just irresponsible. It’s dangerous.

I’m pushing to ensure Congress fully investigates this matter. But his record speaks for itself - Hegseth is unfit for this job. He must resign.
