Re-electing Zoe is only one of several steps California Democrats need to take in this fight against Trump.

I am very mindful of the state of things in this country. Donald Trump does not believe in free and fair elections: period, full stop.

And no one has been a bigger advocate for free and fair democratic elections than Zoe. She held Trump accountable as a member of the January 6th Select Committee and stood with me in the charge to fight back against unlawful Republican redistricting in Texas.

Now, it is all on the line in 2026.

I thank you and everyone who stood up not just for our democracy, but for those who are feeling intimidated, for those who are struggling to get by, and for those who believe in the notion of checks and balances.
