John, it's Brad Lander. Earlier today, I announced my campaign for New York's 10th Congressional district, and the immediate wave of support has been incredible. 

Our team already includes leaders like Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, and the Working Families Party!

They all agree with me that defeating fascism requires building a more inclusive, less rigged economy. And they're all leaders who have proven they're ready to fight, not fold, to meet the moment.

John, our democracy is precarious because so many people feel precarious. 

Regular people can't afford housing, health care, and childcare. Folks are angry about an economy that favors the wealthy and special interests and a government that fails to deliver.

And in this coming era of AI, automation, and social media, billionaire-driven inequality is only going to get worse — unless we do something about it. 

We can't let some of those same billionaires buy a seat in Congress, especially in the heart of the greatest city in the world. 

Our district deserves a representative who has spent their life fighting for this community, not a Congressman so out of touch that he trades stocks in office (while advocating to ban congressional stock trading?) and hangs out with Donald Trump Jr. in the Bahamas.
