Working Families Party

John,

This morning, Brad Lander launched his campaign for Congress in New York’s 10th Congressional District. And we are so proud to be among his very first endorsements.

Brad has been a trusted ally of the Working Families Party for years. Time and time again, he has stood up for our communities all across New York. He even put his body on the line — literally — in the face of ICE’s abuses earlier this year.1

And he was one of the first NYC politicians to defy the establishment machine and endorse Zohran Mamdani — at a time when other so-called “leaders” were too afraid to risk angering the Cuomo dynasty.

But most of all, we’re endorsing Brad Lander because there is a deep, deep hunger in NY-10 for bolder leadership. We’ve spoken with so many community members, and the message is clear: the people want a candidate who not only has deep ties to the district, but an unwavering commitment to build upon our affordability agenda in Congress.

That candidate is Brad Lander.

We’re going all in starting NOW, just like we did for Zohran Mamdani. And to pull it off, we need your help. Please give today to NYWFP and equip us with the tools, resources, and organizing-power needed to elect Brad Lander to Congress.

With Donald Trump back in the White House, New York is facing major threats.

He’s made a routine out of deploying the National Guard into cities that refuse to cooperate with his masked kidnappers at ICE. And he is already on the record threatening to withhold federal funds from New York City if they don’t elect his preferred candidates.2

These are not reasons to bend the knee, but to fight back even harder. That’s why working families are demanding candidates who truly have their backs.

2025 has been a historic cycle so far, with WFP champions winning key races all over the state. And these wins happened precisely because the candidates were bold, values-driven, and unwavering in their support of working families.

We need to bring that same energy to the 2026 midterm elections. Now is the time to mobilize to protect our communities, stand up for immigrant families, and defend our democracy.

And we know that Brad Lander has the integrity and courage to do just that if elected to Congress — just like he’s done throughout his decades-long career as a community organizer, affordable housing advocate, City Councilmember, and Comptroller.

Help us elect Brad Lander to Congress by making a donation to NYWFP today. We’re going to commit everything we can to building a strong, on-the-ground organizing program to support his campaign. And we rely on YOU to fuel those efforts.

Thank you for all that you do, John.

In solidarity,

Team WFP
