We want to tell you more about why we’re supporting Eon and Christian in their races:
Eon Huntley is a father and lifelong Brooklynite who’s running for Assembly District 56 to make our neighborhoods safer and more affordable. He’s been a grassroots leader for years, serving as former PTA president of his daughters’ schools. As PTA president, Eon led the school community through COVID and founded a food pantry to make sure his neighbors were fed during a major public health crisis.
Christian Celeste Tate is a dedicated community organizer and advocate running to represent Assembly District 54. Growing up in a working-class family, Christian navigated inequality every day and committed himself to social change. As an organizer, he’s spent countless hours building with his neighbors to keep people in their homes and defend our communities from corporate profiteers.
Eon and Christian are both running to stand up against corporate greed and make our communities safer and more affordable for working-class New Yorkers.
