Dogs are “people’s best friend”—and yet, countless innocent puppies and dogs are forced to suffer every day from our actions:

• In labs across the country, dogs are forced to ingest—or are injected with—potentially toxic substances, suffer through various other painful and distressing procedures without pain medication and if the tests don't kill them, nearly all are killed when the tests finally end—without a second thought.


• In puppy mills, pregnant dogs are forced to have litter after litter while suffering from inadequate nutrition and preventable disease. Their puppies are often born into filthy conditions, and many times, they both are denied veterinary care for injuries or illness.

Dogs are counting on you to take immediate action to end their suffering. We must continue our fight to both end animal testing and also pass critical bills like the Better CARE for Animals Act, which will give the federal government the ability to more quickly remove animals from dangerous situations and stop ongoing abuse and exploitation in facilities like research labs and puppy mills. But in order to turn this bill into law, we need you to help fuel our efforts.
