I'm running for Congress in New York's 10th Congressional District!

This is an urgent moment for our democracy. Donald Trump is abducting our neighbors and destroying our institutions, and Republican yes-men and weak-willed Democrats are letting him do it. 

We have to stand up to this authoritarian president together. When Trump’s ICE agents kidnapped our neighbors, I put my body on the line to stop them. When Trump and Musk stole $80 million from New York, I uncovered it and forced the City to get it back. 

This moment in history needs leaders who fight, not fold. The people of NY-10 don't want leaders who think it’s business as usual. We deserve a Member of Congress who will fight like our lives depend on it, because they do.

John, I've spent decades organizing in my community to deliver for working people. As an affordable housing leader at the Fifth Avenue Committee, I brought neighbors together to stop evictions and build new homes. 

In the City Council, I built broad coalitions that won 1️⃣ paid sick leave, 2️⃣ banned stop-and-frisk, 3️⃣ desegregated the middle schools of Brooklyn's District 15, and 4️⃣ brought participatory budgeting to NYC.

As Comptroller, I rooted out corruption, grew New York's pension funds to over $300 billion, divested from fossil fuels, and saved 50,000 families from being kicked out of their homes.

John, I love New York City. This place is my home — the whole diverse, beautiful tapestry. I'm proud of the work I've done fighting for it over the last decade and a half. Now, I'm stepping in to fight Trump and stop his attacks on New Yorkers.

So, I'm running for Congress because the challenges we face can't be solved with strongly worded letters or high-dollar fundraisers OR by doing AIPAC's bidding.
