Hi John,

The last few years have forced organizations like ours to reconsider how we show up for LGBTQ+ young people. The headlines often feel bleak. Youth mental health is under real pressure. To keep showing up meaningfully for LGBTQ+ youth, we knew we’d have to evolve.

Our 2024 Annual Report [[link removed]] and 2025 Impact Report [[link removed]] put that evolution into focus. You’ll see youth-led grants turning auditoriums into queer proms and classrooms into safer spaces, digital mental health tools that meet young people where they are when the world feels difficult to navigate, and young people using the skills they learned from It Gets Better programming to step up and become leaders.

In this short video [[link removed]], I talk about how all of this is made possible by the support of recurring donors.

This work requires more than one-off moments of generosity. It depends on momentum. Recurring donors are the reason we can plan beyond the next crisis headline, say “yes” when youth step up to lead, and keep showing up when fundraising slows.
