David & Tim's Favorite Things
We asked David and Tim to reveal their favorite WallBuilders resources and the Christmas traditions they love most. Here's what they said!
David Barton
Favorite WallBuilders Product: The Founders’ Bible<[link removed]>
“It captures so much American history in short, rich, and pithy articles. It also demonstrates how intimately the Bible is intertwined with our great leaders and so many seminal events in our history.”
Favorite Christmas Tradition:
“For Christians, I think Christmas and Easter are our top two holidays--even though I love Thanksgiving (thank you, Pilgrims!). At Christmas, Jesus entered our world as a baby, and at Easter, he championed eternal life over death and Hell. But Christmas is tops for me, for without Christmas there is no Easter. In fact, I think Christmas is so important that I celebrate it all year long--all twelve months! I have a long playlist of Christmas songs, and they run the full year (just ask any of the WallBuilders staff!). My favorite Christmas song is It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, for that is the affirmation that my favorite season is once again upon us all!"

Favorite WallBuilders Resources: The American Story: The Beginnings<[link removed]>, The New England Primer<[link removed]>, and WallBuilders hats<[link removed]>.
“The American Story helps people learn much of the untold details of how America became a nation and the Primer allows people to have a glimpse into the Bible centered education of earlier generations."
Favorite Christmas Memories:
“I grew up hearing Christmas music all year. Our family used to drive all across the nation in a 15 passenger van and my dad had cassette tapes of some of his favorite Christmas albums. We were either listening to a Christmas album or a Louis L'amour western story. That might have partially influenced why Christmas is my favorite holiday. I think Resurrection Sunday, the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are my four favorite days of the year (and maybe opening weekend of some hunting seasons). Christmas has always been special for our family. We will have a fire in the fireplace (regardless of outside temperature) and sit around and read from Luke chapter 2, the story of the coming of Christ. I love having a season to remember and celebrate God's greatest gift to man, his only begotten son. "
Merry Christmas—from our family to yours, all year long!
