The aggressive ICE raids taking place in our state and in communities across the country are unacceptable, and deeply troubling.

Rather than upholding civil rights, the Trump Administration’s policies have fueled fear, undermined due process, and disproportionately impacted Black, Brown, and immigrant communities.

The use of unmarked cars, masked operatives, paramilitary-style tactics, and detentions without warrants represents a clear act of racial targeting and intimidation.

This constitutes a serious misuse of authority, an infringement on civil liberties, and a threat to the principles of our democracy. Federal officials must put a stop to these tactics and launch thorough inquiries into every instance of racial discrimination and misconduct.

We must protect our communities and ensure that those responsible for these harmful and unjust practices are held fully accountable.
