![]() Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak on MSNBC about Donald Trump’s visit to Pennsylvania. Look, I have a lot of thoughts about the President. But lately, this one has been at the forefront of my mind: Here in Pennsylvania, we solve problems. We get stuff done. We should expect the same from the President of the United States.
Let’s be real, John: Families in Pennsylvania aren’t interested in the President’s latest personal vendettas. Folks just don’t care about his perceived slights or made-up peace prizes. Pennsylvanians care about their budgets ahead of the holidays. We care about the cost of housing. We care about our children's education. We care about affordable and accessible health care. Will we hear anything on those issues during Trump’s visit to Pennsylvania later tonight? Not a thing. We all know his speech will probably turn into an hour-long side show that isn’t going to do a thing to lower our costs.
With gratitude, Josh Shapiro |
