John, as Governor, my first duty is to act in the best interests of the people of North Carolina.

I know that folks are eager for leaders to do more than talk the talk. People expect us to put in real effort to address the challenges facing our communities. I believe that our administration is doing just that — but I also know that there’s still a long way to go.
