As you may know, Brian Maryott is the candidate who is Law Enforcement’s choice in CA-49 and is honored to be endorsed by several key local law enforcement organizations. 

Mike Levin recently voted to end qualified immunity, which he enjoys personally as a Congressman. This type of out of touch and partisan behavior is exactly why we need a new representative in Congress. 

Our men and women in blue risk their lives every day to ensure our communities are safe. We cannot allow the radical Left’s call to Defund the Police to echo throughout the nation. So John, do you stand with our law enforcement and reject this movement to defund the police?

Democrats recently called to Defund the Police, which is irresponsible and dangerous. A world without police is not what Americans want. Instead of defunding the programs that keep us safe, we can work towards accomplishing change through thoughtful reform that doesn’t put the safety of our communities and officers at risk. 

Brian believes thoughtful reform is possible without dismantling qualified immunity and drastically reducing funding to our brave men and women in law enforcement. We here at Team Maryott want to know if you agree and reject the notion to defund the police?

We need a member of Congress who speaks up and supports our law enforcement, and so far, our current Rep. Mike Levin has not made his position clear. Brian has called on Rep. Levin to speak out and let us know what he thinks. Instead, he continues to stay silent and push for policies that do harm to our brave men and women in law enforcement.

Brian Maryott knows that Southern California deserves a representative who will make their position known and not bow to special interest or the socialist mob. He is the candidate who is proud to be an advocate for the police. 

Brian understands that reforms in policing are needed but any changes should help police do their jobs, protect individuals’ safety, and keep our communities safe, not defund and make our streets more dangerous. Do you agree?
