Are you concerned about ultra-processed food?

Did you see this, friend?
A major new study just raised serious concerns about ultra-processed foods.
Researchers followed nearly 30,000 U.S. nurses and found that women who ate the most UPF were more likely to develop colorectal adenomas — precancerous growths that can lead to colon cancer. It’s another warning sign in the growing research linking UPF to serious health concerns.
But the real problem? Consumers are left in the dark. UPF dominate grocery shelves, are heavily marketed and often use additives most families know nothing about.
That’s why EWG is pushing for food policies that put your health first.
Now we want to hear from you as EWG shapes its food strategy for 2026.
