Science is no hoax.

Did you ever think we’d need to say that?

“Hoax” is how Donald Trump described climate change -- despite an overwhelming consensus from the scientific community that climate change is not only real but that it’s caused by humans and going to spell disaster for the world’s most vulnerable people unless we take drastic action.

Donald Trump has also described criticisms of his handling of the pandemic as a “hoax.” And this pandemic is now causing untold economic and humanitarian devastation across the country and the globe -- damage that certainly could have been mitigated had his administration effectively taken action early on.

That’s why we’re fighting for leadership that cares about the facts.

We’re taking on Trump and his entire network of extremist, evangelical Christian nationalists who have forced their agenda on the country.

The good news is we’ve already been successful in countering the toxic narrative of the religious right. We’ve increased the number of state legislators who are public about being nonreligious by 900% over just the last four years -- and now, we’re ramping up our fight.

With your help, we can educate the public and support politicians who will push back against right-wing extremists. Leaders who will defend reproductive rights, lead the charge on climate change, and demand science be at the forefront of our government.
