Meet Biologists Studying the Wonders of Migration

Celebrate the conclusion of birds’ southbound treks with some bird science! On our last stop of the 2025 It All Begins with Birds: Bird Migration Celebration Tour, meet the biologists studying the migration of the Lesser Yellowlegs from Alaska to Patagonia.

Join us for a conversation with Santiago Muñoz and Juan David García, two young biologists who have spent several migratory seasons in rice fields in Valle del Cauca and Cauca (departments of Colombia) to measure and track birds to better understand their hemispheric journeys.

Live English interpretation will be available.

For 120 years, Audubon has inspired action through the wonder of birds. Be a part of this incredible season of discovery, migration, and community. Learn more about the full Bird Migration Celebration Tour
