Hi Friend,

For three decades, Animal Outlook's undercover investigations have exposed hidden cruelty and delivered concrete change. This work would not be possible without you by our side. Right now, when you support our next undercover investigation, your gift will be matched, dollar for dollar, by a generous supporter. Will you help us reach our $100,000 goal?

This is why Animal Outlook exists: to expose truth, deliver justice, and build a kinder world.

Here are three landmark wins your support made possible:
Superior Farms: first-ever DOJ intervention over humane handling at a ritual slaughter establishment

The first ever look inside a U.S. lamb slaughterhouse revealed egregious cruelty, including ineffective stunning, repeated electric prods, and rough handling. We teamed up with Public Justice to file a lawsuit under the False Claims Act as a whistleblower following our hidden camera investigation; in a rare move, the Department of Justice intervened over humane handling allegations.

Tyson "nose-boning" exposed—and ended

Our investigation of a Virginia farm supplying Tyson documented birds punched and kicked and crushed in crates. We also documented the brutal practice of "boning," where plastic rods were stabbed through young birds' nostrils to limit their food intake. After our footage was released, Tyson ended the practice of "boning" and fired ten workers. Perdue and Wayne Farms followed, and 17 of the top 20 producers confirmed they were not using the practice. Your support led to industry-wide reform for chickens overnight.

Manning Beef: the last LA cow slaughterhouse closes

Our investigator documented cows butchered while showing signs of consciousness, failed stunning, repeated electric shocks, and piles of unborn calf fetuses. We submitted evidence and the USDA cited Manning Beef for noncompliance with the Humane Methods of Slaughter Act as a result. Following our investigation, a protracted bankruptcy proceeding, sustained community advocacy and a long history of violations, Los Angeles' last cow slaughterhouse closed its doors.
These wins prove that investigations save lives, shift corporate practices, and spark legal reforms. But animals still need us every day.

Honor 30 years of impact with a gift of $30 (or any amount you can). Thanks to a generous supporter, your donation will be doubled, up to $100,000, through December 31.
