Dear John, There are less than 24 hours to go in our Big Give Christmas Challenge. So far, more than 60 generous supporters and churchgoers have raised £6,300 of the £10,000 we need, to help Local Pantries bring people together in 120 communities around the UK. We’re always hugely grateful for all support, but if you can give before noon on Tuesday, every pound you give to support Your Local Pantry will be match-funded, meaning your money will go twice as far as it would any other time! Recent research confirmed that Pantries are achieving remarkable things in 120 UK neighbourhoods, easing poverty, improving health, and reducing isolation. Here’s how one member recently described the impact of the Pantry: “It has been an absolute blessing for many reasons, not just helping with the cost of living on a low income and a debt repayment plan, but I also found friends, connected with people and it improved my mental health and sense of being included and belonging to a local community.” The donation link is above and below.
