Big Give: 24 hours left

John, quick, there’s only 18 hours left of the Big Give challenge and we are £11,662 off our target for the Female Prisoners Support Trust (FEMPRIST).

We've got until midnight tomorrow to reach our target — but we have to raise the full £53, 000, John.

Our grassroots partner, FEMPRIST, are nervously waiting for our email saying if we hit the target or not. I really hope we won’t let them down, John. Chip in now.

The incredible work of the Female Prisoners Support Trust (FEMPRIST)

FEMPRIST supports women leaving prison by offering counselling, peer support, and job training to help them earn an income and rebuild their lives. They also train prison staff to treat women fairly, push for laws that make prison more humane, and work with communities to reduce stigma and support reintegration.

When you click on the links in this email and donate, your entire donation goes directly to support this work. And, as whatever you give will be doubled, you’ll be doing twice the good.

But the work this money is earmarked for just won’t happen unless we raise it. We’re not just saying that: it’s the simple truth.

We all know that life is not an equal playing field. There are so many reasons a woman’s life can take a downfall. Can you join us and everyone who’s already donated in supporting women to get back on their feet after prison?

Once the Big Give ends tomorrow, it’s over. Even if you can only donate once a year, now’s the time to do it, John. Thank you so, so much in advance.
