Putting Homeownership Within Reach Again |
Families across Miami-Dade County are under real pressure. Rising property taxes, higher insurance premiums, and increasing mortgage costs are putting homeownership out of reach for too many. Today, I am writing from the campus of Harvard Business School, where I am completing my MBA. Before this, I managed global HR operations at Google. Looking back at my path—from a high school theatre kid in Miami, to an Economics degree at the University of Chicago, and then to Big Tech—I realize I didn’t get here by being “well-rounded.”

Miami has a way of testing cars. One minute you’re crawling on I-95 in rush hour heat, and the next, you’re sliding into a packed garage in Brickell or packing paddleboards for a weekend in Key Biscayne. If an SUV can’t juggle comfort, style, and versatility, it won’t survive here. That’s why the all-new 2025 Nissan Murano feels like it was made with our city in mind.
