Delivering for You

Since my first day in Congress, I've remained committed to working hard on your behalf and delivering "RESULTS OVER RHETORIC".

This congressional session has been no different, and I am excited to share a few historic achievements that my team and I have secured for our district in 2025.

This year, TWO of my bills passed in the U.S. House of Representatives, placing my office in the top 5% for effective lawmaking. This only adds to a committed, problem-solving record, which includes three of my bills getting signed into law since I was elected.

We've also helped almost 700 Texans with federal casework and returned over $1.5 million to constituents from the federal government.

Check out my "2025 Wrapped" below for more wins from this year.

Supporting our Law Enforcement

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to hear testimony by law enforcement leaders from across the nation.

We discussed a key issue: the rise in targeted attacks against first responders, police officers, and DHS personnel.

Assaults on our men and women behind the badge will always be unacceptable, and I'm focused on making sure that law enforcement officers have all the tools they need to protect themselves against an increase in targeted violence.

Increasing Penalties on Drug Dealers

This week, I introduced the bipartisan Dark Web Interdiction Act alongside Congressman Chris Pappas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Dark Web Interdiction Act strengthens criminal penalties on drug dealers and fentanyl traffickers that operate through the dark web. It also authorizes the Joint Criminal Opioid and Darknet Enforcement (J-CODE) task force on a PERMANENT basis so that local, state, and federal law enforcement officials can partner against these bad actors.

With drug overdoses spiking in recent years, this legislation takes concrete steps to cut off supply at the source and protect our communities.

Committed to School Safety

On Tuesday, alongside the National Council of School Safety Directors, I presented this year's "National School Safety Leadership Award" to Guy Bliesner -- a true professional who has made it his mission to fortify classrooms against school violence.

As Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Bipartisan School Safety and Security Caucus, I am committed to protecting students from outside attacks and will continue to chart a better path forward to keep our schools out of harm's way.

Enhancing Emergency Medical Services

This week, I also met with Texas representatives of the American Ambulance Association in Washington, D.C.

We had a great meeting on enhancing emergency medical services in TX-23.

It's always great meeting with constituents in Washington, like my good friend Rachel from El Paso. Thank you for all you do to improve emergency response in our district.
