I won't sugarcoat this, John:
Fundraising has been alarmingly slow these past couple of weeks. So much so that my team and I had to make the tough decision to lower our fundraising goal this month.
If we keep needing to cut goals like this one, we are going to be in danger of wasting an incredible opportunity to flip Texas blue – where not one, but four polls show me leading my likely Republican opponent, Ken Paxton. Will you help me make up this fundraising gap ASAP by chipping in a split donation of $10 or more right now between my campaign and Blue Amp Action to reach our updated fundraising goal?
To be even more brutally honest with you, John, I'm worried.
In a race as competitive as this one, especially in a state as big as Texas, resources play an outsized role in getting our ads on the air, helping me travel to every corner of the state, and fighting back against GOP attacks.
My MAGA opponent has already stockpiled $20 million, and Republicans are so scared of losing this seat that more dark money is pouring into Texas every day. And I don't take shady corporate PAC donations, which means I'm 100% counting on grassroots donors like you.
That's why I have to ask: Before it's too late, will you chip in a split donation of $10, $25, or anything at all to make sure we hit this revised fundraising goal so we can keep up our grassroots momentum and flip Texas blue?
Thanks so much,
Colin Allred
