I won my very first Congressional primary by just 1,790 votes.

For reference, 1,790 people would fill just over 4% of the seats at Wrigley Field.

It was a close shave, and it taught me a valuable lesson at the start of my public service career: Don’t get comfortable.

There are no guarantees in politics. I learned to always stay on my toes, be prepared for anything, and never act like I’ve won before ALL the votes are counted.

I take a similarly cautious approach to campaign finances. We could be chugging along just fine one week, and the next, something comes out of left field: a government shutdown, a special-interest money dump, or an attack from my MAGA opponent.

That’s why, with my End-of-Year fundraising deadline around the corner, our FEC finance report due to go public, and other curveballs sure to come our way, I’m determined to knock December out of the park.

Now’s the moment to show the crumbling MAGA majority that we’re ready to play hardball. Will you step up to the plate and help me go to bat for IL-06 and all Americans in 2026 and beyond? [[link removed]]
