Since taking office in January, the president has governed with instability, disregard for basic decency, and a willingness to bend the rules for political gain.
He imposed reckless tariffs that have driven up costs while hardworking Americans are struggling to make ends meet.
He pushed through a cruel budget that slashed healthcare for seniors and food assistance for hungry children — just to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and personal profiting for some politicians.
He presided over the longest government shutdown in history and refused to negotiate a deal that would end the chaos and stop healthcare costs from skyrocketing.
He has repeatedly misused the power of his office with his corrupt pardons, betrayal of the rule of law, and grotesque grift — threatening our democratic institutions and freedoms at every turn.
The past year has been an endless cycle of cruelty and chaos — and it must end.
