Dear John,
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership that captures the spirit of our fight: an exclusive print of the stunning painting "No Kings" by Mark McMahon, son of the legendary artist-journalist Franklin McMahon.
This powerful image is more than just art; it’s a testament to our movement. And even better: half of each sale of the print will be donated to Social Security Works to fund our continued fight to protect Social Security.
Mark McMahon comes from a family dedicated to documenting American history. His late father, Franklin McMahon, was a legendary artist-journalist who famously covered pivotal moments in civil rights, including the chilling trial of Emmett Till in 1955, drawing the courtroom scenes as the events unfolded. Franklin’s work, capturing history as it happened, has been featured in major institutions, including a recent, significant show at the Chicago History Museum.
Carrying on this powerful legacy, Mark created the "No Kings" painting live, witnessing the action and energy of our movement in Chicago. While born from a specific moment, the piece represents the story of the entire No Kings movement. It is about being witness to history. It is about being a part of history.
Secure this piece of history for your home today, and help us continue our mission. Remember, half of each sale of the print will be donated to Social Security Works.
You can view and purchase the limited-edition print here: https://www.mcmahongallery.com/nokings
By purchasing this print, you are not only owning a powerful work of art but also making a direct contribution to the movement. That’s why half of each sale of the print will be donated to Social Security Works.
The "No Kings" message is fundamental to who we are. It’s what drove you to action: you came out and raised your voices to stop the destruction of Social Security by the Trump administration and to remind Trump and the world that there are no kings in our nation.
Thank you for everything you do.
In Solidarity,
Alex Lawson Social Security Works
